We are extremely grateful for our volunteers, who are the backbone of our rescue.
Interested in volunteering? We can't wait to introduce you to our organization and the team that makes it all happen.
We have a wide range of tasks that our volunteers help us complete, from processing applications at home to washing laundry at the facility to transporting dogs to their appointments. We welcome anyone to organize supply drives to benefit our rescue, as well.

All volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and bring a signed waiver. Volunteer groups (limit 10 per shift), please fill out this request form.

We have several ways our volunteers share their time and talents with us!
Events
Walking dogs around adoption events, picking up donations, helping with set up/clean up, and more! We can always use extra sets of hands at our events that are held at the facility and at local parks, businesses, and restaurants.
To volunteer at an event, please sign up as a volunteer, then use the SignUp.com link from your welcome email to let us know when you can help.
Transportation
We have frequent vet appointments that pups need transportation to and from on a regular basis. One of our greatest needs is for volunteers to pick up animals from the facility in West Columbia and take to + pick them up from their appointments in the Columbia, SC area. This includes spay/neuter surgeries, health certificate checks, etc. Additionally, we have a need for donation pick-ups, on occasion.

Dog Socialization
Taking dogs on walks in the neighborhoods near our facility or out for a "doggy day out" can really help with their training and socialization skills!
Doggy Day Out pick up is before 11am and drop off is by 4pm. You do not need to sign up on the calendar for for a Doggy Day Out. Please see the flyer above for full details.
On-site Assistance
Final Victory Animal Rescue is located at 919 N. Lucas St in West Columbia, SC. At the facility, there are MANY ongoing needs for help! Tasks include washing dishes, laundry, filling Kong toys, yardwork, prepping foster bags, and organizing incoming donations. We welcome individuals or groups to help us tackle these tasks!
For individual sign ups, please use the SignUp.com calendar link you received when your volunteer application was approved. For group requests, please email FVARvolunteers@gmail.com. Due to our limited space, we are only able to have 10 volunteers on site at a time.
Adoption Application Processing
Perfect for those who prefer helping out from home and open to out-of-town volunteers, as well! Our processors communicate with potential adopters and approve applications for adoptions.

Other
We welcome the time and talents of volunteers in any other capacity that benefits our mission! From big projects like building structures in our outdoor play yards to photographing our facility and available pups, we look forward to any and all help that is offered. If you have any fresh ideas about how you could help us, please reach out!
Anyone is welcome to organize a supply drive on our behalf, collecting new and used items to donate to our facility and animals. We are happy to arrange a photo op with a dog when you drop off!
